Asterisk World offers the latest news and project updates for Asterisk, a free and open source framework for building communications applications that is downloaded nearly 2 million times per year. Attendees will be able to gain access to in-depth technical sessions, participate in networking opportunities, meet potential collaborators and discuss detailed Asterisk case studies.

A well-rounded and informative overview of the Asterisk project, the seminar is designed for users that are managing a team deploying an Asterisk implementation, evaluating potential replacements for a legacy telephony solution or are simply new to Asterisk. It is broken into multiple sessions, beginning with background information such as the history of Asterisk, followed by examples of fundamental configuration for a call flow and features such as voicemail and IVR, and will include a comparison of SIP channel driver configuration in Asterisk 13.
