HUNTSVILLE, Ala., October 6, 2011 — Digium®, Inc., the Asterisk® Company, today announced that it has received a 2011 Enterprise App Award from CRN for mobile applications that extend its Switchvox unified communications (UC) solution. Also known as "The Appys," CRN's inaugural Enterprise App Awards were presented to the top mobile apps for business, recognizing outstanding achievement in driving enterprise IT into the palms of the market. Digium was one of only three companies to be honored out of more than 50 nominees.
