Huntsville, AL, June 3, 2015 – Digium®, Inc., the Asterisk® Company, today announced that Leslie Conway, vice president of worldwide marketing, has been named to The Channel Company’s prestigious 2015 CRN® Women of the Channel, and has been recognized as one of this year’s Power 100. The annual list honors outstanding female executives across vendor channel organizations prominently involved in the IT channel ecosystem for their achievements and the far-reaching impact they are having on the technology industry going forward.

This year’s Women of the Channel were carefully reviewed and selected by the editors of CRN based on their accomplishments and the influence they wield over the technology channel. The Power 100 spotlights an elite subset of Women of the Channel honorees whose insight and influence in their respective companies help drive channel success.

Over the past year Conway was instrumental in advancing Digium’s Cloud Agent program and expanding the number of agents who offer Digium Cloud Services. Her team developed a highly targeted marketing strategy to recruit new cloud agents and provide more opportunities for existing partners to offer Switchvox Cloud. The effort resulted in signing four master agents, nearly 300 cloud partners and growing overall partner productivity by 17 percent.

As part of Digium’s commitment to be easy to partner with, Conway’s marketing operations team led the expansion of a customer acquisition and billing system, enabling a seamless online solution for onboarding cloud customers and setting up their service. This backend infrastructure is geared to deliver the highest level of customer service and support. Other highlights from the past year include launching additional cloud-based services through Digium Cloud Services, including SIP Trunking and Switchvox Rescue, a cloud-based disaster recovery service for premises-based Switchvox customers. These new services help provide Digium’s channel partners with new, marketable revenue streams.

“We applaud the exceptional contributions of the honorees in this year’s Women of the Channel Power 100. These executives have made a lasting mark on the industry by helping to shape the channel’s future,” said Robert Faletra, CEO, The Channel Company. “We are privileged to celebrate their far-reaching influence, innovation and commitment to the IT channel community.”

The Women of the Channel will be featured in the June issue of CRN, and online at www.CRN.com.
