David Mandelstam, Founder/President/CEO, Sangoma Technologies Inc.

David Mandelstam is the Founder, President and CEO of Sangoma Technologies Inc., the premium provider of PC-based telephony hardware and software products for proprietary and open source based networking and telephony solutions. In this role as Founder/President/CEO, Mandelstam is responsible for the overall management of Sangoma and its future strategic direction.
David and his Research and Development team are taking an industry lead by providing revolutionary PC-based telephony hardware, including the AFT Series T1/E1/J1 voice/data cards that are engineered for today's demanding soft PBX, IVR and VoIP applications - such as Asterisk®, Callweaver, FreeSWITCH, and Yate. They offer a competitive price and reliable performance standards unparalleled in the industry.
Before starting Sangoma in 1984, David ran an engineering company and was also the VP of Engineering for an energy conservation company. He is a pioneer developer of connectivity hardware and software products for IP telephony, Wide Area Network (WAN) and the Internet.
David holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Witwatersrand in South Africa, a Master of Science in Aerodynamics from the Cranfield Institute of Technology in the United Kingdom and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of South Africa.
Doug Vilim, VP of Sales, Sangoma Technologies Inc.

Doug is Vice President of Sales for Sangoma Technologies, the premium provider of PC-based telephony hardware and software products for proprietary and open source based networking and telephony solutions. In this role he is responsible for leading Sangoma's sales and business development strategies to embrace open source and closed sourced communication projects around the world. During his tenure, revenue has grown over 400%, the customer base has expanded to every continent around the world, and Sangoma has become a global supplier to several major PBX manufacturers.
Prior to joining Sangoma, Doug's most notable stints were in sales and marketing roles at Eicon Networks, now Dialogic, as well as 10 years in pre-sales technical and sales roles at NEC and Compaq.
Doug's technical background allows him to bridge the gap between sales and engineering. Doug is a graduate of Seneca College Electronic Engineering in Toronto and an Honors Graduate of Lakehead University in Thunder Bay, Ontario.
Doug spends his free time with his wife and four busy children. They share his passion for skiing, hockey, and power boating at his cottage in Muskoka
Serge Forest, VP of Marketing, Sangoma Technologies Inc.

Serge Forest is the Vice President of Marketing at Sangoma Technologies, where he is responsible for product strategy and management, corporate marketing and communications, as well as partner program management. Under his leadership, the organization has recently adopted a strong partner-oriented approach to marketing, focused on developing, nurturing and leveraging Sangoma's extensive group of application partners and its worldwide two-tiered distribution channel.
Prior to this engagement, Serge was CEO of Paraxip Technologies, which he co-founded in 2003. He led the corporation from inception all the way to the successful acquisition and integration as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sangoma. To this day, the company develops and markets innovative communication software that enables the deployment of IP telephony in the enterprise and the contact center at a fraction of the cost of alternative products.
Prior to co-founding Paraxip, Serge was Director of Platform Software at Nuance Communications where he gained significant experience, insight and industry recognition into the IVR and contact center business. Before joining Nuance in 1999, Serge worked in a series of engineering and management roles at Nortel Networks.
With over 15 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, Mr Forest brings with him wide technical and business experience to Sangoma. Serge holds a Master's and a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from l'Ecole Polytechnique de Montreal.
Nenad Corbic, Chief Software Engineer, Sangoma Technologies Inc.

Nenad Corbic is the Chief Software Engineer of Sangoma Technologies Inc., the premium provider of PC-based telephony hardware and software products for proprietary and open source based networking and telephony solutions. In this role, Nenad plays an instrumental part in developing and designing the new line of Sangoma drivers, WAN and TDM protocol stacks, and APIs.
As an active Linux kernel maintainer of Linux WAN/WANPIPE drivers, Nenad has frequently submitted patches into the Linux source. He is currently managing and developing numerous open source telephony projects targeted to bridge the gap between OS projects and products. His latest projects include optimizing and expanding TDM architectures and developing high-availability Open Source VoIP/TDM switches.
Nenad is a pioneer in connectivity hardware and software products for telephony, Wide Area Networks, and the Internet.
Previously, Nenad was a software engineer in the telephony division of Nortel Networks, working on DMS and XA-Core switches.
Nenad holds an Honors degree in Computer Engineering from Ryerson University, Toronto.
Michael Feldman, Chief Hardware Engineer, Sangoma Technologies Inc.

Michael Feldman is the Chief Hardware Engineer for Sangoma Technologies Inc., the premium provider of PC-based telephony hardware and software products for proprietary and open source based networking and telephony solutions. In this role, Michael is responsible for leading the hardware group to maintain its high standards of quality and innovation, such as the development of Sangoma's award-winning design Advanced Flexible Telecommunications Product Line.
He has more then 20 years of extensive experience in electronics and computer hardware design. Michael has been awarded 8 patents and has 5 publications.
Michael received a Master Degree in Electronic Engineering and Computers from the Moscow Institute of Radio Engineering, Electronics and Automatics in Russia.
Frederic Dickey, Director of Product Management

Frederic Dickey joined Paraxip in March 2007 to lead Marketing and Business Development efforts. Prior to joining Paraxip, Mr. Dickey was General Manager at Kallastra Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Octasic Semiconductors. In his role at Kallastra, Mr. Dickey gained significant experience in worldwide Sales and Marketing (including Europe and Asia) while managing operations.
Prior to Kallastra, Mr. Dickey spent 4 years at NMS Communications as a Product Management Director with responsibility for product lines generating significant revenues annually. Before NMS Communications, Mr. Dickey held several Sales Engineering and Project Management roles at both Lucent Technologies and Nortel Networks. Mr. Dickey brings, with its 18+ years of experience in the telecommunications industry, a comprehensive technical and business background to Paraxip.
Mr. Dickey holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Honours) from McGill University in Montreal.
Moisés Silva, Software Developer

Moisés Silva works as a Software Developer for Sangoma Technologies. He holds a Bachelor of Electronics and Communications degree from the Universidad de Guadalajara. He has been the maintainer of the chan_unicall driver for Asterisk 1.4 and is the author of the MFC/R2 signaling library OpenR2. He is currently pushing to support MFC/R2 signaling in chan_zap. He also has made several contributions to Asterisk®, such as Asynchronous AGI and context tracing for channels.
